About This Plant

Sun or very partial shade; semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial, with stiff upright stems and striking, silvery-white foliage used as a garnish or flavoring, along with various medicinal applications.

Artemisia quickly spreads by rhizomes; either give it room to behave as a groundcover, or plan on a deliberate effort to contain it.

Maintenance

Cut back as needed after freeze damage.
