Sun or partial shade. Winecups are an annual wildflower, with deeply lobed leaves and purple chalice flowers in spring and early summer. They can be found in the wild in well-drained sandy or rocky soils.

Origins: South-central U.S.

Maintenance

None required, but don’t cut the spent wildflowers until after they’ve set seed, if you want to see them again the next year.
