About This Plant
Sun or partial shade; nearly evergreen, with dark compound leaves and buttercup yellow flowers in mid to late summer. Argentine senna is tolerant of partial shade, rocky soils and freezing temperatures. It attracts sulphur butterflies.
None needed; can be trained to a treelike shape. It reseeds prolifically in some settings.
