About This Plant
Sun/part shade. A herbaceous perennial with soft, fine-textured floss flowers from summer through fall. It spreads easily in partial shade, forming a seasonal groundcover for flowerbeds and butterfly gardens. This mistflower is a guaranteed butterfly magnet.
Maintenance
Appreciates supplemental summer water in badly exposed locations. Can be cut back freely. Spreads aggressively in an irrigated setting.
