Apple of My Eye Tote for Teachers

School teachers by and large are creative people who are constantly thinking of new projects and craft ideas to help children learn and grow. I don’t know many teachers (if any) who don’t have a lot of stuff to tote around. Between grading papers and making lesson plans for the year, teachers haul quite a workload.

Now that the school year is about to start, why not start it off on a positive note by making a carry all for your child’s favorite teacher. This tote is super simple to create and supplies are minimal.

You’ll need:

  • A blank tote
  • Fabric paint
  • Apples in different sizes

Slice the apples in half, dip them in the paint color of your choice and depress the form onto the tote.

This project is so simple your kids could probably do it all on their own with very little supervision, making it truly a gift from the heart. Show your child’s teacher how much you appreciate them and respect how important their job really is.
