Join Green Spaces Alliance for a cozy afternoon of community, culture, and seed stewardship at our Heirloom Seed Saving Workshop & Holiday Potluck! Learn the art of saving seeds from your garden to carry into next season — preserving flavor, history, and resilience in every harvest.
This workshop will be co-led by Shannon Grace, founder of Texas Bean Freak, NPSOT SA Preseident, and a seasoned vegetable gardener with over 15 years of experience growing food crops around the world. Shannon specializes in heat-tolerant, drought-resistant plants and resilient foodscaping strategies, and she serves on the board of the Native Plant Society of Texas. As the creator and host of Seedy and Shady AF: A Sketchy Gardening Podcast, she brings humor, honesty, and a down-to-earth style to every conversation — making even the most technical gardening skills feel fun and accessible.
After the workshop, we’ll gather for a holiday potluck to share food, stories, and the spirit of the season. Bring a dish you love, meet fellow gardeners, and help build a community rooted in knowledge and celebration.
