SAWS customers can earn WaterSaver Rewards for learning about water conservation — and cash in when purchasing water-saving materials for the landscape!
Follow these easy steps on your path to knowledge and cash-savings!
SIGNING UP
First, a friendly reminder: if you signed up previously, you don’t need to sign up again.
If you’re new to the program, getting started is simple and free! You must be a SAWS residential water customer and at least 21 years old.
SCORING POINTS
Visit the GardenStyleSA.com events calendar to find upcoming events and programs. When attending eligible events, make sure to register AND sign in with your Rewards number — this is typically the mobile number you used when you signed up. For online events, you’ll need to complete the quiz at the end of the class to receive credit. Event organizers will submit your attendance to SAWS Conservation and coupons will automatically be emailed to you when you’ve earned three, five and seven points.
REWARDS
Coupon values correspond to the number of points you earn:
- Three points earns $30
- Five points earns $50
- Seven points earns $70
You can earn up to $150 in total value during a given calendar year.
USING COUPONS
All the coupons are electronic. You’ll receive an email with an online link to your coupon, which you present to the participating retailer during checkout. The store employee will enter their unique password on your phone to validate your coupon.
Coupons may be used at participating local retailers toward a variety of water conserving materials including plants, mulch, rain barrels, birdbaths and bird feeders, compost, and other landscaping supplies.
Rewards coupons expire 180 days after issue. Please note, pesticides, herbicides and rocks are not considered eligible items at any of the participating vendors.
YOUR REWARDS ACCOUNT
Wondering how many WaterSaver Rewards points you have earned? Your coupons, rebate offers and more are all available at saws.org/myaccount.
Rewards members will be re-enrolled in WaterSaver Rewards at the beginning of each year. Points expire on Dec. 31 and do not carry over to the next calendar year.
