About This Plant
Sun; semi-evergreen. Mutabilis is a terrific landscape and shrub rose. Its vigorous habit and size can hide any other imperfections. Very simple “butterfly” flowers appear throughout the year in yellow, pink and lilac. The perfume is soft and fruity.
Mutabilis has moderate resistance to typical rose diseases like black spot. It can be allowed to grow without any particular pruning.
Maintenance
Water (consistently), fertilize (regularly), mulch. Mutabilis can be grown as a shrub rose; pruning isn’t much of an issue, but it can be cut back around February 14.
