The Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival brings visitors to Brackenridge Park together with environmental stewards dedicated to protecting pollinators, who make one of every three bites of food possible.
The day highlights the progress of Project Bloom and its partners on providing nature-based programming to everyone in our community and protecting Texas’ wild and green spaces.
You’ll enjoy hands-on fun family activities including mazes, obstacle courses, and processions for kids and adults to discover and follow the life cycles of native pollinators: birds, bats, bees, butterflies and more.
There will also be a monarch tagging demonstration and people’s pollinator procession — dress up as your favorite pollinator — as well as pollinator-inspired costumes, face painting, and food and drinks from local vendors.
