Fall Decorating

Fall has finally arrived — and it’s my most favorite season! Fall is the time of year when temperatures cool down, there’s pumpkin everything and Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

That means there’s a cornucopia of ideas for fall decorating this time of year. Most people tend to decorate their porches and front steps for the season with inspirations of autumn. You can use some of the items from your garden to accent your décor.

Pumpkins are a favorite fall decorating piece along with chrysanthemums, which come in a variety of fall colors. Make natural wreaths of pumpkins, apples and cornhusks to adorn your front door. What a welcome greeting that would be for your Thanksgiving guests!

Take a small bale of hay and add pumpkins, decorative gourds and corn to enhance the front steps of your home. Just think warm and inviting and more ideas will come to you. Need more inspiration? Check out our Pinterest board for more ideas!
