Join Tamox Talom every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6pm to connect with community and our plant relatives.

Get your hands in the soil and connect with your community at the Tamox Talom Food Forest! Volunteer days are a fun, hands-on way to learn about regenerative gardening, contribute to a thriving local ecosystem, and share knowledge with fellow nature enthusiasts.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on Learning: Participate in seasonal tasks which may include planting native species, sheet mulching, weeding, composting, and harvesting edible plants.
  • Connect with Nature: Experience the beauty and tranquility of our food forest. They’ll  point out what’s in bloom and what’s ready to eat, like vibrant Turk’s Cap and fragrant Palo Azul!
  • Build Community: Meet like-minded people who care about sustainable food systems and green spaces.
  • All Skill Levels Welcome: No prior gardening experience is necessary! The Tamox Talom team will provide guidance and tools. Everyone has something to contribute.

Who Should Come?
This event is perfect for individuals, families, students, and anyone curious about permaculture, native plants, or just looking for a meaningful way to spend a day outdoors.
