Join us for an educational workshop focused on fall and winter bird feeding and the fascinating world of avian observation! Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or just starting out, this workshop will provide you with valuable insights into attracting and caring for our feathered friends during the colder months with supplemental food and native plants. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about different types of bird food, how to identify common fall and winter birds in your backyard, and build their own simple seed feeder. In this presentation, we will provide tips for creating a bird-friendly habitat and guidance on how to effectively participate in Project FeederWatch, a community science initiative that helps track winter bird populations across North America.
