Learn native plant landscaping techniques by joining members of the community at Mitchell Lake Audubon Center as they work in the area around the Visitor Center. MLAC depends on amazing volunteers to help manage the habitat; tasks can involve trail maintenance, removal of invasive species, and planting native plants for birds and butterflies depending on the day. Learn why well-adapted native plants are more sustainable choices for water conservation.
