About This Plant

Sun; appreciates shade from western summer sun. Semi-evergreen in San Antonio with erect squarish stems and stiff leaves; lavender flowers appear in spring and occasionally after rains. A nice informal native groundcover for gravelly soils.

Origins: Oklahoma, western Texas, and Mexico

Maintenance

None required; can be sheared as needed.
