Sun; can tolerate some partial shade. Evergreen, with woolly bipinnate leaves; also known as fern-leaf lavender. Generally it is longer-lived than some other lavender varieties in our climate; plan on ignoring it once it’s established. Give it well-drained soil and plenty of room. The aroma is peppery.
A short-lived perennial; generally carefree, but may not survive prolonged wet and cool weather or periods of heavy rainfall.
