Get the secrets for stunning gardens that can withstand a sizzling San Antonio summer at SAWS Spring Bloom.

With all the wildflowers throwing open their petals, you know Spring Bloom is almost here — our perennially popular spring gardening event returns to SAWS Headquarters, Saturday, March 11!

The free event is your prime opportunity to chat with San Antonio’s landscaping experts and hear their secrets to successful landscaping.

Learn how to figure out “What’s Your Garden Style.” You can adapt most water-efficient plants to any landscape look you love whether it’s a delightfully casual cottage garden, a more formal Spanish courtyard, a modern mid-century look or any other garden style.

In fact, we invite you to quench our curiosity and tell us which style you love the most!

Vote for your favorite by March 11! We’ll develop landscape design plans for the winning style and make them available on GardenStyleSA.com in the coming months.

On Saturday, arrive early enough and be one of the first 1,000 adults to get a free plant to take home. Choose from: plumbago, aromatic rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Barbeque’, Salvia ‘Roman Red’, or Salvia ‘Mystic Spires’.

Of course, you don’t want to miss the plant sales where you can pick up more drought-tolerant beauties and learn how to incorporate them in your landscape in a variety of styles.

Throughout the day, turn to our sustainable gardening experts for insight on how to create and maintain a thriving landscape despite the drought.
