About This Plant

Sun to partial shade. Narrow, lance-shaped leaves on rigid stems, branching toward the top; flower stalks terminate in yellow rays, lobed at the margins and occasionally reddish at their bases. The slender plants grow up to 2 ft.

Prairie gaillardia is a showy, prolific bloomer.
