About This Plant

Sun or shade. Narrow herbaceous stems are topped with clusters of fragrant, fuzzy pinkish-white flowers. The leaves resemble catnip: an appealing lime green, deltoid in shape, with serrated margins. By itself it will sprawl across the ground, but planted next to other plants, a shrub, or a fence, pink thoroughwort will loosely climb.

Found in woodlands, thickets, roadsides, and moist places. Like other “mistflowers,” Pink Thoroughwort is attractive to butterflies and bees, especially in the south Texas plains in autumn.
