About This Plant
Full sun to part shade; a popular herb with both culinary and aesthetic value. There are both curly- and flat-leaved (Italian) varieties.
Parsley makes an attractive border plant because of its texture and compact form. It’s a true biennial that produces foliage during the first year and then a flower stalk the next year. It’s fairly short lived; expect to replace it periodically, but it’s worth it in the herb and butterfly garden.
Swallowtail butterflies utilize parsley as a larval host.
Maintenance
Grooming. Short-lived; expect to replace it periodically.
