About This Plant
Sun/part shade; nearly evergreen in warm winters. Various species are available commercially. Mountain pea is a dense-spreading no-fuss perennial with purple flower clusters during the warm season. Look here if you want a substitute for Asiatic jasmine in dappled shade. It adapts to different soil types and can survive on once-weekly summer watering (or less) even during drought.
Maintenance
Normally maintenance free, but may appreciate supplemental weekly water during summer.
