About This Plant

Deciduous. The distinctly bluish leaves have shallow lobes and nice fall colors. Lacey oak tolerates thin soils and makes an excellent choice for a specimen in a small outdoor area.

Maintenance

Like live oak and red oak, lacey oak is susceptible to oak wilt fungus; appropriate precautions should always be taken. Paint all wounds and avoid cutting except on the very coldest days of the year (NEVER in springtime.)
