About This Plant
Sun or partial shade. Deciduous; nearly evergreen with tiny silvery leaves. Small purple blooms appear spring through fall. A useful ground cover in rocky areas challenged by thin soil difficult slopes or reflected heat.
Dalea is long lived for such a dainty plant and easy to establish but don’t baby it; dalea does not appreciate fertilizing and watering.
Maintenance
A mild spring shearing helps it maintain a denser form. Avoid fertilizer or excessive watering.
