About This Plant
Partial shade or sun. An evergreen mounding perennial, generally cold-hardy though it may freeze back in extreme cold weather. Fairly deer-resistant and easily grown in xeric settings, with showy yellow blooms in mid-spring and silvery foliage. The leaves provide a soft texture that contrasts well with yuccas. Needs excellent drainage. Like many euphorbias, it may spread somewhat, though isn’t considered invasive.
Branches tend to die back after flowering. Shouldn’t need supplemental water more than once per month in warm weather.
