About This Plant

This cheerful perennial grows up to 3 feet tall in full sun. The bright yellow flowers bloom from March until July, with the greatest occurrence during the spring. This is a very common wild flower that grows along roads throughout the San Antonio region.

The dark green leaves of Engelmann’s daisy are deeply lobed and provide year round interest. During winter warm spells, Engelmann’s daisy might bless your yard with a surprise bloom. Pollinators visit the flowers and birds love the seeds.
