About This Plant
Full sun. A semi-evergreen shrub rose with clusters of small pink flowers resembling carnations. Blooms appear constantly from spring through fall. Caldwell Pink has been designated an Earth-Kind rose by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension for superior performance and pest resistance.
Fairly drought tolerant, Caldwell Pink performs well in many soil conditions, i.e. thin, rocky, or clay-like. (Like all roses it prefers well-drained, amended soil). It makes a good landscape rose for drifts, massing, or an accent. Climbing varieties are available.
Maintenance
Water (consistently), fertilize (regularly), mulch, and prune (regularly in warm weather, and heavily around February 14.)
