About This Plant
Full sun. Evergreen. An attractive tree-form yucca. Many sources consider it simply a branching variety of the popular Big Bend Yucca (rostrata). Thin blue-gray leaves grow in a cluster, later draping down to form a shaggy coat along the trunk.
Beaked Yucca is a common roadside attraction in West Texas, tolerant of full sun and reflected heat. It makes an excellent choice for exposed rocky slopes and parking medians.
Maintenance
Remove spent flower stalks only; the leaves may be left to form a tidy skirt around the trunk.
