Spring Bloom is Virtually Here!

Lackluster landscape? Up your gardening game at SAWS Spring Bloom — a four-day online extravaganza March 10-13.

Lackluster landscape? You’re in luck — SAWS’ annual Spring Bloom happens this week! This year’s event will be a four-day virtual extravaganza from March 10-13.

Starting at noon Wednesday, March 10, two interactive webinars will be offered daily to help you transform your troubled terrain into a water-conserving, pollinator-loving drought-tough oasis.

There will also be:

  • Self-guided, in-person garden tours (with COVID-19 safety measures, of course).
  • Games and prizes (like pots, rain barrels and Botanical Garden memberships).
  • Real-time Q&A sessions with local gardening experts.

You’ll also learn how to maximize SAWS WaterSaver coupons, earn WaterSaver Rewards points, and discover other incentives to help you create the landscape of your dreams.

To earn points, you must be a WaterSaver Rewards member so make sure to sign up by March 13.

So mark your calendars for March 10-13 — we can’t wait to see you online for SAWS Spring Bloom 2021! Get all the details at saws.org/springbloom.

Mark Peterson
Mark A. Peterson was a conservation project coordinator for San Antonio Water System before retiring. With over 30 years of experience as an urban forester and arborist, Mark is probably the only person you know who actually prunes trees for fun. When not expounding on the benefits of trees and limited lawns, you're likely to find him hiking San Antonio's wilderness parks or expounding on the virtues of geography and history to his friends.
