Garden Socially

My garden is starting to wake up and it’s thriving from all the winter rain. In fact, I haven’t had to water since early last fall. The cherry tree’s blooms have come and gone, and the mountain laurel and red buds are in full bloom.

And the basil I got from this year’s Spring Bloom event — I managed to plant it just in time for more spring rain. The larkspur and poppies look like they’ll be putting on quite a show this year and my standby evergreen loquat and bay laurels look great.

But enough about my garden, we want to know what’s happening in your garden right now. Post your garden pictures to SAWS Facebook page and show us.

While she’s no longer whipping up new landscape programs, she’s still cooking up delicious dinners made with fresh herbs from her low-water-use garden or planning the next trip with her husband, Rick -- preferably to some exotic place that requires a passport.
