GVST will teach how to design, install and maintain a water conserving garden/landscape through 12 sessions of learning. These 75 minute sessions will include choosing drought-resistant native plants, improving soil with compost to increase water retention, use of mulch to conserve moisture all as presented on the SAWS “Garden Style San Antonio” website. The focus will be fostering lifelong learning and social connection through these workshop classes that will give the attendees the opportunity to seek personal direction for their particular site requirements.
