Seed saving is an easy practice that every gardener can do! Join Green Spaces Alliance to learn what seed saving is, why it’s important, and how you can start saving seeds from your own garden. All participants will be invited to take part in hands-on demonstrations where you will get to harvest seeds of your own to take home, including native wildflower seeds.
This workshop will take place outdoors at Alamo Heights Community Garden. Everyone is invited to join us! Please wear lightweight clothing appropriate for the weather and water to drink. You may also bring any seeds you would like to swap with your fellow attendees.
This is a free event; suggested donation $5.
