
Join Green Spaces Alliance at Bulverde Oaks Nature Preserve as we begin the first planting phase of the Memorial Grove. Together, we’ll plant native and endangered species, increase biodiversity, and help create a contemplative garden space.
This workday will focus on establishing the foundation of the Memorial Grove—an intentional space that serves both people and the landscape.

Volunteer Activities:
Planting native woody shrubs, forbs, and grasses to support biodiversity in the Edward’s Plateau ecological region.
Establishing Bulverde Oaks’ first demonstration garden, the contemplative garden, within the Memorial Grove.
Spreading mulch to improve soil health and nutrient availability in planting beds, and to establish a connective trail within the Memorial Grove.
All ages are welcome.
